The Association Agreement will be made publish next week. It will come into force after it is signed in 2014. In accordance with the provisions of the European and Moldovan legislation, after the signing the accord will be implemented provisionally, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Uruapan Integration Natalia Gherman, quoted by IPN.

The European Commission formalized the legislative initiative on the abolition of the visa requirements for Moldovans. The European Parliament will be functional by the end of March 2014. By then, the Moldovan authorities have enough time to obtain the approval of this decision by the European Parliament, Natalia Gherman stated for Publica TV in a live intervention from Vilnius.  “We expect that the procedure will be finished by March 2014,” she stated.

Vilnius is hosting the EaP Summit, where Moldova will initial the Association Agreement with the EU, which evasions the creation of a Free Trade Area.
