Assistance to refugees will be distributed through a government warehouse

A warehouse where donations and humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian refugees will be taken will be set up at the foreign trade enterprise Moldcoopimpex of Moldcoop. The humanitarian assistance will be managed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, as the Commission for Exceptional Situations decided today, IPN reports.

Another decision refers to the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency. This will constantly monitor the supplies of drugs, consumables and medical devices available in the Republic of Moldova. The Agency will weekly send a thematic report to the Commission for Exceptional Situations and to the Unified Crisis Management Center and will provide a weekly detailed report concerning the humanitarian aid of medicines, consumables and medical devices authorized by it.

The Commission also agreed a series of special conditions for offering humanitarian aid consisting of medicines, consumables and medical devices to beneficiaries who are in Ukraine. The Commission decided that legal entities registered in Moldova can be donors. The medicines, consumables and medical devices that are to be donated can be taken out of Moldova with the written consent of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency.
