Following a draft amendment adopted by the Government at its recent meting, the teachers working at the high-school and the university under the patronage of the Moldovan Academy of Sciences (ASM) will get a 100-percent raise, Info-Prim Neo reports. ASM president, Academician Gheorghe Duca, has said that the work at these institutions requires creativity because these establishments will provide knowledge to the most gifted students in the country. The performance of the specialists teaching here are assessed against high standard criteria, he added. The ASM employs a personnel of 44 to teach at its high-school and university. To cover this pay raise, the government will have to allot roughly one million lei from the state budget.
