As of today, persons with light forms of COVID-19 can get compensated drugs

The persons with light and moderate forms of COVID-19, who receive treatment at home, can benefit from drugs compensated from the mandatory health insurance funds as of today, December 18, after the infection was put on the list of priority diseases that are frequently met in the family doctor’s practice. The relevant changes to common orders of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) were published in the Official Gazette, IPN reports.

In case of fever, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory medicines, such as paracetamolum and ibuprofenum, and also mucolytic and expectorant drugs, such as ambroxolum, acetylcysteinum and carbocisteinum, will be prescribed to children.
