Moldovan halfback Artur Ionita scored his first goals for Cagliari. He managed to score two goals in the encounter in Palermo that ended by 3-1, IPN reports.

Ionita tied in the 48th minute with a superb head kick as a result of a corner, while in the 88th minute he set the final score with a left leg kick. As a result of this victory, Cagliari climbed to the 13th spot in the championship of Italy.

Artur Ionita already scored eight goals in Series A, the first six being for Hellas Verona. He is 26 and began his career of footballer at Zimbru.
