Artur Ioniță has been elected the best Moldovan football player for the second time. He won the first title in 2014, when he made the move to Serie A. The Cagliari midfielder has so far accumulated 151 matches in the Italian championship, managing to score 12 times, IPN reports.
In his career, Artur Ioniță performed for Zimbru, Iskra-Stal, Aarau, Hellas Verona and Cagliari teams. In 2013 he won the second Swiss league with Aarau. He played 45 matches and scored three goals for the national team of Moldova.
In the internal championship the following best players have been named: goalkeeper - Nicolae Cebotari (Sfântul Gheorghe); cornerback - Veaceslav Posmac (Sheriff), midfielder - Alexandru Suvorov (Sfântu Gheorghe); attacker - Vladimir Ambros (Petrocub). Serghei Cebotari from Sfântul Gheorghe has been elected the best coach.
