At the exhibition, Victoria Melnic, the rector of the Academy of Music, Theater and Plastic Arts, said that Alexei Colabneac’s trainees show the same scrupulosity and devotion as their teacher. “This exhibition shows us once again that Alexei Colabneac is a genuine master. I’m very glad that we have him in our teaching staff,” she said.
Famous book illustrator Violeta Zabulica-Diordiev, a student of Alexei Colabneac, said that her teacher taught her not only skills, but also other things important in life. She thanked him for the attention paid to her after she graduated from the arts institution.
“I have followed for many years the work of master Colabneac and know that when he does something he does it with great strictness towards himself and the others,” said Ghenadie Jalba, the president of the Union of Plastic Artists of Moldova.
