Art pieces by Moldovan and Romanian students on display at Parliament

The Parliament building is hosting an exhibition of paintings and crafts by Moldovan and Romanian high school students. Titled the “Thrill of Kindness”, the exhibition is held to mark the World Creativity and Innovation Day.

The works were made during technological education classes. Students, guided by their teachers, wrote journal pages, poems and stories about the beautiful people they know. Other children, inspired by the literary works of their peers, created paintings, sculptures and embroideries based on them.

The “Originality High School” Project represents a cross-border and transdisciplinary partnership of educational institutions from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, which was created at the initiative of Vladimir Badrajan, teacher of Romanian language and literature at the Ginta Latină Lyceum in Chisinau. The project aims to stimulate creativity and critical thinking among students, as well as to establish collaborative relationships with high schools in the municipality of Chisinau and those in Romania, Parliament said in a press release.

The exhibition will run until the end of April.
