Three men were arrested for poaching in the border area. A shot doe was found in the trunk of the vehicle in which they travelled, IPN reports.

According to the Border Police, employees of the border police sector “Lipcani” stopped a unit of transport coming from the border line for a check. They asked the driver to open the trunk and found there two hunter’s guns and a shot female deer.

The three men aged between 25 and35, who are from Grimancauti, Briceni, had no identification paper on them and no permit for bearing firearms. The legality of holding the guns is yet to be determined. The men will be penalized in accordance with the legislation.
