The Buiucani Court of Chisinau on June 18 decided to extend the arrest warrants against two suspects investigated within the case of appropriation of money from Banca de Economii (BEM), IPN reports, quoting the National Anticorruption Center.

The former president of the BEM Grigori Gachkevici will stay under house arrest for another 30 days, while businessman Ivan Tomaily – for another 20 days.

Another two suspects – the ex-vice president of the BEM and former head of the Economic Security Division of the BEM – were obliged to present themselves whenever the prosecution officer invites them.
