ARF Soroca tied 0-0 with the team of Istanbul within the qualifying competition of the 2016/17 UEFA Regions’ Cup for amateur teams, IPN reports.

Coach Marin Russu used the following players: Nicolae Plescan, Vadim Rusu, Gheorghe Cazac, Alexandru Cristioglo, Vasilii Boldescu, Eugeniu Anitoaie (Sergey Celac, 40th minute), Andrei Russu, Dumitru Maga, Denis Rogac, Valentin Sychev, and Igor Balan.

In the first-leg match played at the Zimbru stadium, the team from Soroca lost to Geneve 0-1. The last stage takes place on November 18. ARF Soroca plays against Western Region of Northern Ireland, while leader Geneve meets Istanbul.
