The area of road marking in the municipality of Chisinau has doubled compared with a year before, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Last year, there were 1.3 million square meters of road marking, but this year we have 2.6 million square meters,” the head of the General Public Transport and Communications Division Adrian Boldurescu said in the November 14 meeting of City Hall officials. Adrian Boldurescu stated that a series of crosswalks in the municipality have been marked for the first time in over five years. Last week, there were marked 851 square meters of street and fixed 26 road signs. The repair works on the streets in Chisinau were stopped because of the unfavorable weather conditions. There will be performed only intervention works. The repair works will be completed next spring and summer.
