Arcadie Albul resigned from the post of vice governor of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) which he had held since December 2021. The draft decision to accept the resignation was adopted by Parliament, IPN reports.
Arcadie Albul tendered his resignation, invoking health reasons. The post of NBM vice governor will fall vacant on January 1, 2024.
Under the law, the vice governors of the central bank are appointed by Parliament at the suggestion of the governor of the National Bank of Moldova.
