For the second time, the Chisinau Municipal Council voted to withdrew the appointment of deputy mayors from the agenda of its meeting. The candidates were proposed by acting mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu, IPN reports.
A number of 29 councilors of those attending voted to exclude the issue from the agenda of the November 3 meeting of the Council.
The proposed candidates were Silvia Radu, ex-director of Gas Natural Fenosa and ex-candidate for the presidency of the Republic of Moldova, and Ruslan Codreanu, Chisinau councilor.
The Chisinau administration incudes four posts of deputy mayor, three of which are vacant.
