The parents of children aged 6-7 can file applications to have their children enrolled in the first grade by August 31. Only the artistic and sports schools make an exception. The aptitude tests in these schools already started and will last until May 16, head of the Chisinau Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb stated for IPN.

The applications must be accompanied by a medical certificate, the copy of the child’s birth certificate and of the identity card of one of the parents.

Under an order on the enrolment of first graders for the 2014-2015 school year, issued by the Chisinau Municipal Council, the school debut of the children aged six is decided depending on their somatic-psychological maturity degree.

In the bilingual classes, the admission is based on a contest held by the Ministry of Education.
