Application deadline for BCC vacancies has been extended
The parliamentary Commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass-media issued a press release on March 2, announcing that the deadline for applying for vacancies at the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) has been extended until March 12.
Info-Prim Neo notes that the deadline has already been prolonged twice. Initially, it was set for February 7, then for February 18.
The Commission’s deputy chairman, Communist Deputy Alexandr Petkov previously told Info-Prim Neo that the other deputy chairman, Liberal Deputy Corina Fusu, had infringed the law when announcing the vacancies without discussing the initiative in the Commission. “All the applications are illegal, as the whole contest is”, said Petkov. He mentioned that candidates for the 3 vacancies at BCC would have to apply again after the regulation contest was announced.
