The candidates applying for places to study at Romanian education institutions, who will submit the applications for admission in Chisinau, are asked to avoid crowdedness on the first day and to present themselves at the Romanian consulate in alphabetic order. On July 26, there should come the candidates whose surname starts in A up to H, on July 27 – those whose surnames begin in I to P, on July 28 –R to Z, while on July 29 – regardless of the initials, IPN reports.
In a communiqué, the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau specifies that for pre-university education the candidates will file applications at the entrance to the consulate from Grigore Ureche St, while for university education – at the entrance from Albisoara St.
The embassy urges the young people not to hurry to submit the documents as admission is based on the average grades determined according to the calculation methodology approved by the Ministry of Education of Romania, not according to the order in which the applications are accepted. Every year, the joint commission leaves Moldova only after receiving the documents of all the candidates who want to study at state education institutions of Romania.
The admission commission that came from Bucharest will receive candidates’ documents at the Balti University “Alecu Russo” on July 23-25, at the Romanian consulate in Chisinau on July 26-29, and at the Cahul University “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” by August 2.
The Romanian state provided 5,500 places at Romanian education establishments for Moldovans for the 2013-2014 academic year.
