A man from Chisinau died after being hit by a car on Wednesday while crossing the street at the green color of the traffic lights. Uliana Catana, inspector of the Public Relations Service of the Traffic Police, told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened around 9.30 PM, on Uzinelor Street in Chisinau. The driver, a 25 year old man from Causeni, was apparently driving under the influence and without a license. According to the police, the 42 year old victim was crossing the street in a right place and at the green color of the traffic lights, when the driver ran a red light. Most likely, he was speeding. The injured victim died before the ambulance arrived.
