Apartment thieves caught

Two men were taken into police custody, being suspected for breaking into several Chisinau residences, from where they managed to steal goods worth about 260,000 lei, reports Info-Prim Neo.
According to the General Police Commissariat, the suspects are 26 and, respectively, 33 years old. Both are residents of the capital, and have been previously tried for similar violations.
According to the investigation, the suspects would break into flats through the window, after which they’d steal money, golden jewelry and various electronics. After the searches, police found jewelry, two laptops, one photo camera, one video camera, and other goods, at the thieves’ residences and throughout Chisinau’s lombards.
The General Police Commissariat asks all citizens, who suffered losses caused by the suspects, to call at 022 542-063, 022 521-100, or 902.
