Apartment prices in April rose by 5-10% on the previous month, oscillating between 25,500 and 60,000 euros for one-four room apartments, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the real estate agency “Lara”. The old one-room apartments located near the Airport are the cheapest ones. In April, they cost 21,500 euros on average. The new apartments in downtown Chisinau are the most expensive ones, the four-room apartments being sold for 60,000 euros. The one-room apartments in the center of Chisinau cost 30,500-36,000 euros, in Rascani and Buiucani districts – 30,000-31,500 euros, while in Botanica and Ciocana - 25,500-31,500 euros. The two-room apartments cost 38,000-47,000 euros depending on the location, planning and area, while the three-room apartments – between 45,000 and 60,000 euros. Experts anticipate a new rise in the prices of real estate, but also in the construction volume. The prices of Chisinau apartments in the past five years have increased about eight times in US dollars or by 30-40% a year, while apartment rentals have risen not more than 3-4 times, or by 20% a year. The apartment prices last year rose by 12-14 % or 1-1.2% a month.
