Chisinau’s water utility Apa-Canal will install 575 wireless water meters in 17 residential blocks. The devices were donated as part of a project funded by the German International Cooperation Agency.
The selected blocks are located in Botanica sector, on Dacia Blvd and Aeroportului Str. With the new devices, the utility expects a significant reduction in water losses currently recorded in these blocks.
The company says that the meter reading process will be faster and more accurate, with the human factor eliminated from it.
