“Apă-Canal Chisinau” reopens drinking fountains in parks of capital city

The water supplier “Apă-Canal Chisinau” reopened the drinking fountains in the Park “Valea Morilor”, the square of the Public Garden “Stephan the Great and Holy” and the square of the Metropolitan Cathedral after these were closed owing to the state of emergency related to COVID-19, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the company.

Precautionary measures were taken simultaneously. The people will be able to drink water and to spray water on themselves. The modern model of drinking fountains perfectly matches the recreation places.

The first drinking fountains were set up in 2017. All the installation and service costs are covered by the company. The fountains are connected to the drinking water supply system of the city and also to the sewerage networks.
