SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” informed that during 2013 it executed current repair works at 23 water pumping stations and 10 wastewater pumping stations. The works cost 2.5 million lei, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Chisinau water supplier, besides rehabilitation works, there were performed construction works at the wastewater pumping station Sculeni. They included the replacement of the roof and façade, the renovation of the ventilation system and removal of solid waste. Furthermore, there was restored the access road. There was also modernized the water pumping station in Buiucani, where there was put into operation a water main with a length of about 7.5 kilometers. The total cost of the works was about 26.2 million lei. The money was allocated proportionally by “Apa-Canal Chisinau” and by the municipal administration.

Afterward, there were rehabilitated the water pipes on the streets Belinski and N. Costin. The works cost the supplier about 2 million lei.

A water pipe of about 4 km was put into commission at the water pumping stations Schinoasa and Cartusa. The works were financed by the Chisinau administration. A new power supply line is being built at the water pumping station Cartusa. Currently, there are renovated the station’s internal networks and substituted the old pumps. The re-equipment of the station will be completed in the first quarter of 2014.
