The public utility SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” will have a new subdivision. The Maintenance Department
will ensure the good organization of work and speediness when performing planned works on water supply and sewerage systems, IPN reports.

The water supplier said the new department is created by merging two subdivisions with the aim of optimizing the company’s activity. Thus, the Motor Transport Service and the Production Basis are fused to form the Maintenance Department. This will be based at 28 Varnita St in Chisinau.

None of the employees of the two subdivisions will be dismissed. The personnel will work in optimal conditions to achieve results by common effort. The reorganization procedure will help to annually save about 1 million lei and to considerably reduce maintenance costs.
