“Apa-Canal Chisinau” collects vestiges for Water Museum

The public utility “Apa-Canal Chisinau” calls on the consumers who have historical documents or old installations showing how the first water supply system of Chisinau city developed to offer them for the Water Museum that is to be opened by the company, IPN reports.

The water supplier said that so far it collected information about 30,000 facilities put into operation in 1958-2015. They hold interest for society and will be exhibited in the museum.

In a move to gather more information and historical documents concerning the company’s development, the assets of the National Achieve of the Republic of Moldova are being thoroughly examined. Inquiries were also made to the State Archives based in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Odessa.
