The administration of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” requested the State Ecological Inspectorate to prolong the special water use authorization for Vadul lui Voda town for a three-year period so as to ensure the steady supply of drinking water, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of the public utility, the request is in compliance with the Law on Water and is made with a view to observing the mechanisms for obtaining the special water use authorization.

The announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
