The leader of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” Sergiu Mocanu invites Democrat Vlad Plahotniuc, Liberal-Democrat Vlad Filat and Liberal Anatolie Salaru to take part in a public debate together with him. “This challenge is called “A cart of truth against three sacks of money”. These sacks of money are Plahotniuc, Filat and Salaru, with the latter financing this expensive campaign of Ghimpu,” Sergiu Mocanu said in a news conference at IPN.

The leader of “Antimafie” said that he has been invited to debates until now, but they didn’t include the three politicians because the TV channels are owned by them and the producers invoke different invented criteria for selecting the participants. “I want to become involved in an electoral confrontation with them. A cart of truth against three sacks of money. Actually I do not think that these cowards will want to get out of their holes,” stated Sergiu Mocanu.

According to the leader of “Antimafie”, the election campaign prior to the parliamentary elections of November 30 is one of the most cynical in the country’s history. Mocanu accused the Democratic Party (PDM) of organizing electoral activities with stolen money. According to him, the TV channels controlled by the first deputy chairman of the PDM Vlad Plahotniuc manipulate the people by the permanent appearances of the Democrats.

The politician said that at the end of last week, the team of “Antimafie” went to Nisporeni, to a concert staged by the PDM, in order to tell the people where the money with which these concerts are stages is taken from, but they were attacked with stones by the Democrats.

The party’s deputy head Daniela Bodrug said that “Antimafie” is the only political force that can fight the mafia in Moldova. “We, the Movement “Antimafie”, during the four years of our creation have really supported Moldova’s European course by our actions and by unveiling all the government’s deviations from the democratic norms and the European values. We did it in the name of the European integration. We, the Movement “Antimafie”, are a different pro-European parry,” she stated.

The members of the party called on “Promo-LEX” Association to become involved in the organization of debates and to submit proposals to TV channels for staging the debates in the proposed format.

The Movement “Antimafie” is under No. 7 in the ballot.
