Anticorruption prosecutors are carrying out investigative activities at the Chisinau City Hall. Head of the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office Maria Vieru has told IPN that the prosecutors intend to determine the legality of the latest decisions taken by the Chisinau Municipal Council following relevant notifications from a number of persons.

After the last meeting of the Municipal Council, a number of activists and election runners accused the municipal councilors of illegally distributing land in Chisinau.

A criminal case hasn’t been yet started.
