Anticorruption Center imposes new fines on drugstores

During two months, the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime (CCCEC) has inspected 450 drugstores to see how they adjusted the prices to the National Catalogue of Prices. The drugstores that committed violations were fined. The imposed fines totaled 11,000 lei, the head of the Center’s press office Angela Starinschi has told Info-Prim Neo. There were drawn up 14 reports over the violation of the selling rules and the method of setting and using free prices and state retail prices The inspections at drugstores started on January 17. The National Catalogue of Prices came into force on January 1. According to it, the profit margin on drugs cannot exceed 40% of the price included in the Catalogue.
