This winter, anti-slip liquid will be used instead of sand on the sidewalks and in the courtyards of the capital. The General Department for communal housing and development has prepared 123 tonnes of salt and ten tonnes of anti-slip material.
The head of the DGLCA, Ion Burdiumov, said during City Hall meeting that, in addition to the stored materials, another 750 tonnes of salt and 20 tonnes of non-slip liquid will be purchased. The department head said that during this cold season, the enterprise has three times more anti-slip material and salt compared to previous years.
According to Ion Burdiumov, the enterprise has 14 HACO units, which can disperse salt and use automatic spin brooms. Additionally, the enterprise is equipped with 12 MTZ and 12 LS tractors, endowed with brushes and blades, 16 salting vehicles, out of which 10 were purchased this year.
