The director of the Economic Crimes and Corruption Combating Center (ECCCC), Sergiu Puscuta, and the chief of the Tax Inspectorate, Tatiana Loghin, have resigned. The announcement was made public at the Government's sitting on Wednesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Government has appointed Lucia Gavrilita, the deputy minister for social protection as a principle state councilor responsible for social issues. Viorica Dumbraveanu were appointed as deputy minister, instead of her. Ion Ababii has been reconfirmed as the rector of the Medicine University, as Veaceslav Manolache was appointed as the rector of the Sports University.
