ANRE will pay special attention to auditing at energy companies
The auditing of costs at energy companies by examining the quality of the services provided for the population and the way in which the suppliers respect the rights of the gas and electric power users will be one of the objectives of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) in 2010, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a news conference, ANRE director general Victor Parlikov said the Agency's analysis capacities will be strengthened as the assessment of the companies' efficiency, including their management, is not an easy task.
Parlikov said the auditing of costs will be carried out at all the companies that own licenses for activity in the areas regulated by the ANRE, including the foreign capital companies such as SA MoldovaGaz and RED Union Fenosa.
He added that all the interested parties, including the employers organizations, the consumer protection associations and independent experts, will be engaged in the process of setting and adjusting the prices of services. They will be able to formulate recommendations and submit proposals.
