ANRE to discuss problems of power supply with consumers

In early November, teams formed by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Local Public Administration, as well as specialists in power distribution networks will take field trips to discuss with local public authorities and businessmen from Criuleni and Straseni issues concerning undisrupted supply of electric power to consumers. According to ANRE Director Anatol Burlacov, quoted by the Agency’s press unit, the purpose of the action is to identify the problems faced by consumers and to assist in solving them. Similar meetings were organised in 9 districts: Cahul, Cantemir, Leova, Basarabeasca, Stefan Voda, Ialoveni, Straseni, Calarasi and Orhei. Burlacov says that the most frequently mentioned problems are related to the unannounced power cuts, low-standard power distribution, lack of communication between power suppliers and local authorities. Following these meetings, ANRE will analyse all the identified problems and will work out an action plan for their solution together with the power distributors.
