Requests to increase electricity tariffs are to be considered on Friday. The agenda of the National Agency for Energy Regulation includes both Premier Energy's and Northern Electricity Supplier's applications, IPN reports.
Household consumers served by FEE-Nord could pay a tariff of 4.53 lei/kWh. They currently pay 2.84 lei/kWh for electricity.
Under Premier Energy's approach, final consumers whose installations are connected to the low-voltage electricity distribution networks (households) would pay a tariff of 5.13 lei/kWh, compared with 2.34 lei/kWh (excluding VAT) at present.
The decisions will be analyzed and taken at the ANRE meeting scheduled for Friday at 11.00.
