ANRE launches hot line on heating and electricity supply
Natural gas and electricity consumers can call from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 17.00, the phone number (022) 540 - 534 in order to get advice concerning problems related to their rights and the providers’ obligations, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The hot line was opened by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) upon the request of many consumers, reads a release of the company.
ANRE specialists will offer natural and legal persons consulting regarding the quality of the services of distributing and providing electricity and natural gas, the procedure of solving the issues between consumers and providers, the terms of removing malfunctions from the distribution networks and other problems signaled by consumers.
According to executive director of ANRE Marin Profir, the agency intends to bring into force an electronic form, on the web site www.anre.md, through which the interested consumers will have the opportunity to pose questions to ANRE. The replies will be e-mailed. ANRE will also launch a new FAQ compartment on its web site in the first quarter of the year.
In 2008, ANRE considered 1,161 petitions from power and natural gas consumers. Their number rose 18.8%, compared to 2007.
