The unconstitutional Transnistrian authorities extended the arrest warrant for journalist Ernest Vardanyan for another two months. The next hearing is scheduled for October, the jurist of “Promo-Lex” Association Pavel Postica has told Info-Prim Neo. The Transnistrian authorities accuse the journalist of betraying the 'state' and spying for Moldova. According to Pavel Postica, only Ernest Vardanyan's wife was informed about the hearing that took place on August 6. Nothing is known about the state of the journalist's health and where he is held. Ernest Vardanyan was arrested in Tiraspol on April 7. He faces 20 years behind bars.
