A 54-year-old man died after he fell from the seventh floor of a Chisinau apartment building on September 1. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the man lived in an apartment on the seventh floor of a building located on Voluntarilor St. At about 5pm, he fell from the balcony. The ambulance doctors could do nothing for the man as he suffered severe traumas and died before they arrived. An investigation is under way. One day earlier, a man aged 58 fell from the eight floor of an apartment house situated on Cuza Voda Blvd. in Chisinau. He received serious injuries, but remained alive. A 54-year-old woman was rushed to Saint Trinity Hospital with mushroom poisoning. She told the doctors she ate canned mushrooms bought from the shop. The Chisinau ambulance teams yesterday and last night traveled to 677 addresses, dealing with 61 cases of acute viral infection, 52 cases of trauma, six strokes and other emergencies.
