On Thursday, April 26, the European Party put up Ludmila Bolboceanu as the candidate for the office of Chisinau mayor in the elections scheduled for June 3, 2007. The party has also presented to the Chisinau District Election Council (CDEC) its list of candidates for councillors. Also on Thursday, CDEC registered Vitalia Pavlicenco as the candidate of the National Liberal Party (NLP), and the lists of candidates for councillors submitted by NLP and Electoral Bloc “Patria-Rodina-Ravnopravie”. Vladimir Garstea was registered as unaffiliated candidate for municipal councillor. The European Party is the 13-th party to propose its own candidates for Chisinau mayor and municipal councillors.
