Another Moldovan footballer joins Russian top league
Halfback Nicolae Josan of Moldova advanced to the top echelon of the Russian football after his team, Anzhi Makhachkala, won the First Division on Wednesday with a 3-0 victory over Metalurg Lipetsk, Info-Prim Neo reports.
With 9 goals, Josan is Anzhi's second best scorer.
Another Moldovan, Sergiu Dadu, missed the chance to play in the Russian premiership as his club, Alanya Vladikavkaz, occupied the third place in the Division. With 12 goals, Dadu is Alanya's top scorer.
Other Moldovan footballer playing in the Russian top league are Alexandru Epureanu (FC Moscow), Sergei Kovalchuk (Spartak Moscow), Alexandru Gatskan (FC Rostov), Stanislav Ivanov (Krylia Sovetov Samara) and Victor Golovatenko (FC Himki).
