The days of March 9, April 30, December 24 and December 31, 2018 will be nonworking days, while March 3, April 21, December 8 and 15, 2018, which fall on Saturday, will be working days. Such a decision was approved by the Cabinet on January 24, at the proposal of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, IPN reports.
Thus, in March the budget-funded employees will have four days off, during March 8-11. After the nonworking days on Easter (April 8 and 9) and Low Sunday (April 15 and 16), the budget-funded employees will have another four days off, during April 28 – May 1. December 24 and December 31 will also be nonworking days.
The bank days are: January 1 – New Year’s Eve, January 7 and 8 – Christmas according to the Julian calendar, March 8 – International Women’s Day, April 8 and 9 – Easter, April 15 and 16 – Low Sunday, May 1 – Labor Day, May 9 – Victory Day, Europe Day, June 1 – Children’s Day, August 27 – Independence Day, August 31 – Our Language Day, and December 25 – Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.
