As many as 24 new cases of infection with COVID-19 of the 153 samples examined were confirmed in Moldova on March 25. Of these, three are of import and 21 are of local transmission, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu stated after the meeting of the Single Command Center.

The minister was quoted by IPN as saying that a sum of 36 million lei was allocated from the state budget for purchasing masks with respirators and protective face screens. There was identified a producer that will sew protective suits for doctors.

Of the total 149 cases of infection with the novel coronavirus confirmed in Moldova, two persons were cured, while an infected woman died.
