Another 1,600 graduates to get Baccalaureate diplomas after additional session

Approximately 1,600 graduates passed the Baccalaureate exams during the additional session. Therefore, the number of graduates who will be issued with a Baccalaureate diploma this year is of about 13,000, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Education.

The Baccalaureate exam pass rate stands at 68.79%, up about 6 percentage points compared with a year before.

Even if the Baccalaureate session for college candidates is not the final stage of studies, more than half of these passed the exams. Thus, 2,500 of the over 4,000 admitted candidates were successful. Of the slightly over 4,000 candidates who failed the exams the previous session, more than 1,000 passed the exams.

The 2017 Baccalaureate session involved over 18,700 candidates. More than 10,000 of these were lyceum graduates.
