The recipients of the Annual Awards of the Ministry of Culture for the most representative works of the year became known. The Ministry’s Board decided to institute this year the Award “Alexandru Fedco” for the best manager in the field of culture. This went to the head of the Anenii Noi Culture Division Vasile Morosanu, for his contribution to renovating the local home of culture and to promoting and staging cultural events in the town, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry says the Award “Valeriu Cupcea” in the area of theatrical art was given to Luminita Tacu, stage manager at the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu”. The Award “Constantin Stere” in the field of ex-equo literature went to writer Maria Shleahtitski and the director of the cultural magazine “Sud-Est” Valentina Tazlauanu. The Award “Gavriil Muzicescu” in music was conferred on Mihail Agafita, conductor of the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunkevich”. The Award “Mihai Grecu” in plastic arts was presented to plastic artist Vladimir Palamarciuc, while “Spiridon Mocanu” in choreography – to Andrei Baciu, who is the artistic manager of the ensemble of folk songs and dances “Stramoseasca” of Anenii Noi.
The Delegation of the European Union to Moldova, in the person of Ambassador Pirkka Tapiola, was conferred the Award “Stefan Ciobanu” in the area of conservation of cultural heritage, for substantial contribution to restoring the Soroca Fortress and the mansion “Manuc Bei” and for supporting in Moldova projects to strengthen the institutional and human capacities for protecting the cultural heritage (COMUS, Twinning).
The Award “Ion Madan” in bibliography was given ex-equo to Evan Tracz, director of the program “Novateca”, and Vera Osoianu, of the National Library. The Award “Isidor Burdin” in the area of intangible heritage went to the Osoianu sisters, while “Gheorghe Cincilei” for promotion of the image of culture in the mass media – to editor-presenter at Radio National Veta Ghimpu-Munteanu.
The award ceremony will be held on January 15, 2016, on the National Day of Culture, within the 2016 Gala of Annual Awards of the Ministry of Culture.
