“I hope very much that today’s vote and the confidence put by the voters in the candidates will produce the expected result and will not disappoint,“ Head of Parliament Andrian Candu said after casting his ballot, IPN reports.

“It is a new democratic exercise. The second round of the mayoral elections is very important for the future of the city that we want to be European, full of hopes and, especially, of projects,” stated Andrian Candu.

The Speaker noted that the city needs infrastructure projects to light the streets, set up playgrounds, build kindergartens, etc.
