“In the nearest future, there will definitely be the 51 votes needed to remove the current Government and to name another one,” the leader of the Pro Moldova party Andrian Candu stated in the program “Emphasis on Today” on TVR Moldova channel, IPN reports.
Andrian Candu noted that the Government could be dismissed without the newly formed party’s parliamentary team being extended. However, more MPs could leave the former parliamentary majority.
“The current political context daily fuels disappointment. The people’s dissatisfaction and life degenerated to a disastrous level. If the political class does not want to confront the people, it should place people’s interests above everything and should return to what serving the people means by taking important political decisions,” said Andrian Candu.
According to him, there are now 49 votes of MP, plus the vote of the independent MP, for dismissing the Government led by Ion Chicu. It should be noted that the Party of Action and Solidarity recently said that its MPs will not vote alongside the MPs of the Shor group.
“No one can ban an MP, including those of the Shor Party, to vote for the removal of the Chicu Government and the appointment of another Government assumed by opposition parliamentary parties. The new Government’s program will count a lot as this should be clear-cut and with a lot of anti-crisis measures and the composition of this Government also matters. Our only condition is for a clear plan and anti-crisis measures to be in place and for this to act as a pro-European government,” stated Andrian Candu.
The Former Democratic heavyweight noted that if the MPs really want the Government to be dismissed, the votes will be definitely found.
