The candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” Andrei Nastase called on the inhabitants of Chisinau to go and vote with the whole family, with friends, known and unknown persons on June 3 and choose the change. The candidate said the new mayor should be a representative of the people and he has always been among the people. “We should only vote and it will be just fine! Chisinau should be loved, not controlled,” Andrei Nastase said in a news conference on June 1, which is the last day when electoral campaigning is allowed, IPN reports.

According to the candidate, by going to vote and choosing the change the people can lay down new rules for new times and new persons, for a prosperous society. “I know you would like to tell everyone that we returned home after June 3. We will clean up, paint and clean the yards and sheds and repair the fence if need be, but will not allow things to remain the same,” stated Andrei Nastase.

The candidate noted the most important things he did in the current campaign were the meetings with people, including those from the suburban communities, which are the golden belt of the capital city.

In another development, Andrei Nastase said the campaign prior to the first round of the mayoral elections and the runoffs witnessed dirty attacks against him, beyond the limit of common sense and the law. “The verbal violence and virulence of the gestures copied from the bandits of the 1990s that were shown during TV programs and between them increased considerably when the representative of the toxic Plahotniuc-Dodon duo, Socialist  Ion Ceban, took over the style, means and false information of Plahotniuc’s holding from the presidential campaign,” he stated.

The candidate called on everyone to join a live discussion on Facebook that will start at around 9pm. During this he will call upon the diaspora to urge the relatives in Chisinau to go and vote on June 3 and to choose the change. A similar appeal was made to the young people.
