The leader of the ruling party Vladimir Plahotniuc aims to exclude the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” and the Party “Action and Solidarity” from the upcoming parliamentary elections, PPPDA chairman Andrei Năstase was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Politics of Natalia Morari” produced by TV8 channel.
“What I know, and the international press, the French press based on its sources in the Council of Europe reported this too, is that Plahotniuc intends to exclude me from the next elections. It would be more serious if he excluded both of the parties and this is actually his goal,” stated Andrei Năstase.
According to him, the leader of the PDM set the goal of excluding the PAS and PPPDA from the competition because he understands there are major risks and these risks were seen in the election campaign prior to the Chișinău early mayoral elections.
The leader of the PPPDA said that by the common effort of the political parties, the people involved in politics, the NGOs and civic activists, in the election campaign in the capital city he beat not only the regime, but also its propaganda and this shows that they should continue the struggle with the same insistence in the parliamentary elections.
