Andrei Năstase: PSRM should prove now they are for country’s de-oligarchization

The leader of the Party “Dignity and Truth” Platform Andrei Năstase, co-president of the political bloc ACUM, said the Party of Socialists (PSRM) should prove that they are for the de-oligarchization of the Republic of Moldova and could do this by supporting the package of laws proposed by the bloc ACUM. The issue was developed in the talk show “Important” on TVC21 channel, IPN reports.

“We suggest them to overcome fear and not to be afraid of the prosecutor and of the National Anticorruption Center and to support this package of laws. They can improve and supplement it,” stated Andrei Năstase.

The MP noted it seems suspicious when the Socialists do not provide any response as to the package of de-oligarchization laws proposed by the bloc ACUM. If other MPs suggested such bills, the MPs of the bloc ACUM could support them. They can also discuss other candidates for Parliament Speaker and Prime Minister besides those proposed earlier by ACUM.

The politician said the posts are not of major importance for the bloc ACUM, but these are a means for delivering the promises made to the voters. “To implement these laws, we are ready to assume governance. We also spoke about a minority Government,” stated the politician.

On April 1, MPs of the political bloc ACUM announced they will not take part in the consultations scheduled by President Igor Dodon for April 2. However, they invited the MPs who are not controlled by the oligarchic regime to have constructive discussions on the improvement, adoption and implementation of the package of de-oligarchization laws proposed by ACUM the same day.
