The protests in the Great National Assembly Square will continue until the current government is dismissed, lawyer Andrei Nastase, one of the organizers of the protest, said in the talk show “In Depth” on PRO TV Chisinau channel, IPN reports.
“I think we will not reach winter to get frozen in tents. Those who are in power will stay in them, if they are not jailed. These men will have to leave. They are bringing their end closer. If our demands are not satisfied, protests will be mounted all over the country, including in villages. There will be no Maidan as they will ultimately leave,” stated Nastase.
The protesters’ representative said he is ready to discuss with the leaders from the senior administration. “We are ready for dialogue, especially with President Nicolae Timofti, who has the power to dissolve Parliament and to announce early elections,” added Nastase.
He denied the idea that the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” can be transformed into a political party. “We agreed from the very beginning that the Platform will remain a civic one, even if there are persons who want it to become a political entity,” he said.
