Andrei Năstase: PPPDA member could run in elections in Hâncești

The president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Andrei Năstase, ex-minister of the interior, does not rule out the possibility that a member of the PPPDA will run in the new parliamentary elections in Hâncești constituency. The politician didn’t specify if this member could be he, noting the issue will be examined within the party, IPN reports

“We are analyzing all the possible variants because we are a responsible party. The DA Platform was and remains the party that shows consistency and coherence, that it knows what it wants and that it finishes what it started. In the election campaigns, we every time took party and struggled there without simulating. If we run, someone from the DA Platform will definitely run in Hâncești, but there is yet time for discussing such things,” Andrei Năstase stated in the talk show “Shadow Cabinet” on Jurnal TV channel.

The politician said he is confident that the current government will be removed, but it depends on how much society wants this. President Igor Dodon is the biggest threat to which Moldova is exposed. “Igor Dodon is the biggest danger to the Republic of Moldova and we should all do so that the country is freed from the second Plahotniuc as this is who he wants to be and that’s why he uses all kinds of strategies. We know very well that the strategies come from Russia and that Dodon will represent nothing without Russia,” stated the leader of the PPPDA.

Andrei Năstase noted that besides the former president of the Democratic Party Vladimir Plahotniuc and his right hand Sergei Yaralov, there are many other persons who have double identity in Moldova, but he refused to say if these include former or current Democratic MPs.
